National Donut Day at Champaign County Library

June 1 is National Donut Day. The Friends of the Champaign County Library will be distributing  FREE COFFEE & FREE DONUTS  to celebrate the day and the start of the Summer Reading Program at the Champaign County Library.

The donuts and coffee will be distributed from 6 a.m. until noon. (Drive-thru service available in the parking lot at 1060 Scioto St from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.) Donations will be accepted.

National Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday in June. It commemorates the efforts of Salvation Army women to bring fresh baked goods to the soldiers during World War I.
